Biography

Pauline Adviento is passionate about private practice physiotherapy. She has helped her patients recover from various musculoskeletal work-related and sports injuries.

She enjoys combining manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, clinical Pilates and patient education to help her patients return to activities that make their lives meaningful. She enjoys doing strength and conditioning with clients in a gym setting.

Originally from Auckland, Pauline worked in a tertiary hospital, treating patients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, including chronic pain and post-operative orthopaedic conditions. She has also worked in specialist neurological clinics, guiding patients through rehabilitation following conditions, including severe traumatic brain injury, stroke, and spinal cord injury.

Outside of work, she enjoys keeping active by doing Latin social dancing, kickboxing, jiu-jitsu and strength and conditioning in the gym. She also enjoys travelling, surfing and yoga.
