Jane Banting is an APA musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a great interest in low back and neck pain, sports and work related injuries. After more than twenty years experience in private practice, she established JBA Physio in 2009. She is recognised as an occupational physiotherapist with the TAC and WorkCover.

Jane has post-graduate qualifications in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy and exercise and sports science. She is a qualified clinical pilates instructor and superficial dry needling practitioner. She is an Independent Medical Examiner for the Victorian Workcover Authority, and carries out worksite assessments. She is a registered provider with WorkCover and TAC, Medicare Australia and the Department of Veteran Affairs.

  • Musculoskeletal injuries to the low back/pelvis/hip and the cervical spine/shoulder.

  • Sports injury management and rehabilitation of junior  AFL football and netball players.

  • Particular interest in work-related injury prevention and management, including successful return to work. 

  • Particular interest in injuries after motor vehicle accident, with the emphasis on injury prevention and management, including successful return to work. 

  • Post-opeative orthopaedic rehabilitation.
